Has it really been a month an a half???

So, I'm not sure how it could possibly already be May 2009. Crazy, but then again, I'm still in shock that I'm in my 30's already. I have to figure out how to upload Ayla's first birthday pictures (5.11.09) and Papa's 85th birthday pictures (5.03.09), but other than that, I think I have some good stuff to blog about......

As always, life is busy and there's never a dull moment. Exciting things happening all around us. And funny stuff too. If it was not rude and probably illegal, I would post a copy of the worst resume I have ever seen in my life. Let me just say that my stomach hurt for two days from laughing so hard after I saw a fax we got at work a few days ago. Well that and when applying for a Dental Assistant position do not begin you qualifications with "I know everything there is to know about the rubber dam." Um, it's rubber and it's square......... and under "Related Experience" do not start out as a photographer for JCPenney or say you moved for Belleview Wa, to Everet Wa (Yep, spelled it that way on purpose).

So, we had to have a goodbye party for Hawk at work and we thought, hey, why not, let's go with a White Trash theme. But, we kinda had to go 80's because we are professionals you know.

Rae and Anisa.... Evil masterminds.... and me showing my true Native roots with black hair. Can't tell if I look Indian or Asian...
But first I'll start with Sisters weekend. Emily was in town for a 3 day long Extravaganza that started Friday night at Chopstix and ended Sunday afternoon at Papa's birthday party. Don't know why these uploaded so small...
Sisters :) Matty made Auntie Emmie a crown for her surprise birthday party/sisters sing karaoke for hours and go on a treasure hunt night!

As Hil put it best, Yes, there are 6 of us....
Buggy and Baby A
All of us kids for Mom and Dad

So, we have a new thing going on... SKATING!! We've been taking the kids every Sunday to the ice rink or the roller rink. It's been fun. I tried roller skating, and um, no...... took me 15 min. to get around the rink once - and that was with the wall. I looked like the idiot that I usually chuckle at. But it was hilarious. Marc likes roller skating much better than ice, but Matt prefers ice, so we've been doing each twice a month. Teris and the girls joined us Mother's Day, and so did Auntie Hilly! Here's a few shots!
Even though he doesn't like it as much, he still has fun and picked it up right away
Scott's first time ever
Didn't get too many shots this Easter, but I got a few
Alright Auntie Nannie!!

I contemplated putting this on my blog. This here is Mary Beth.
Cheryl and her baby Janet. Cheryl says to me' "Well, white trash always wear large Hawaiian print shirts don't they?"
Many of you are wondering.... could I possibly get any more annoying at work?? Well, yes, mom, yes I can. And we will. Just wait until the 4th of July, and then Halloween and then Thanksgiving!!!! We did wear our bunny scrubs on Good Friday, but not w/out our handmade scrub caps!!

The 3 Amigos
Janet!
Do I even need to say anything??
Sick!

And last but not least, and MOST importantly.... Matthew's 4th birthday party. In true old school fashion - Micky D's!! The kids just love it and it's really easy on the pocket book. My little man was such a happy boy and his big brother was so gracious and loving and excited to help him celebrate. Way to go Marc!!

Imagine Children's Museum

So, I finally had a day off where Marc had no school, and I missed out on most of his spring break since I'm working. I don't have to go back to work until Tuesday next week, so I'm hopin' to do a lot of fun stuff with the boys. The kids and I went out for pancakes this morning before we went to the children's museum. That place rocks! We just love it!! Matty was going crazy about the trains. It was jam packed due to spring break, so the few times I turned around to see Matt dart off, I knew he was going straight for the train. Anyway - fun times.

Inside the train pulling the whistle
Inside the boat
The water area
Up in the tree house
Up on the roof
This kid wanted to play chess so Marc of course had to set all the pieces up properly. As soon as black and white were both set up and ready to go, the kid kicked them all down. It was pretty funny.
Down the slide
In the dinosaur fossil dig
Downstairs in the construction area
Matty in a car
DORKS!
In the bus
And in my FAVORITE are - the stage!! I missed Matty's loud growl, but I did get him exiting left center stage
And of course the rock wall. Marc did awesome...
And Matty tried his hardest and actually did really well. I'm not surprised!

And finally, a few days ago at work, Dana found the cutest little girl ever who would not smile, but LOVED Dana. :)
